PhD scholarship opportunities with the Animal Genetics and Breeding Unit (AGBU) at University of New England, Armidale, Australia

The University of New England (UNE) in Armidale, New South Wales/Australia is currently looking for Australian and international applicants for PhD scholarships. The Animal Genetics and Breeding Unit (AGBU) is one of the world leaders in Research and Development for genetic evaluation and improvement systems. EMABG Central Office
Just concluded our two-week joint EMABG Welcome Course and Summer School held online at BOKU. We were so happy to reunite with EMABG 2019 students and equally happy to meet the EMABG 2020 intake.

The second part of recording for the virtual excursion was equally exciting. We visited the beautiful region of Eastern Styria and got insights into milk testing, cow and sheep breeding and artificial insemination.

For our video excursion for the EMABG we visited Family Gstöttenmayr in the beautiful Mühlviertel region in Upper Austria and the insemination station of PIG Austria in Steinhaus. Many thanks to everyone involved!
