The European Union co-funded EMJM programme aims to promote equal access, particularly for students with special needs. During the funding period 2025-2031, the programme has received funding to support selected students with long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments.
Students with disabilities who meet the general eligibility criteria outlined in the EACEA grant agreement may receive financial support tailored to their individual needs, up to a specified maximum amount. This funding can cover expenses such as assistance from third parties, workplace adaptations, or extra travel and transportation costs. The support is available to all enrolled students, including those receiving Erasmus+ scholarships as well as self-funded (non-scholarship) students.
Applicants must include an additional statement in their online application, detailing the specific adaptations, services, or travel and transportation support they will need during their study period. It is mandatory to submit a statement from a qualified professional (such as a consultant, doctor, psychiatrist, optician, or audiologist) that verifies their condition and the associated requirements.
