Application Period:

The application period for the second intake will be open from the 15th of September 2025 to the 15th of January 2026.

Then you are the right candidate for the EMJM in Animal Biodiversity and Genomics (EMABG)!

The EMABG MSc course is open for motivated students with a background in Animal Sciences, biology or related fields, who would like to specialise in the field of Animal Breeding, Biodiversity and Genomics. EMABG welcomes applicants of any nationality, economic or social background who meet the admission requirements.

Important deadlines!

Students will apply to the EMABG programme through the central office located at BOKU by 15th of January (for EMJM scholarships) and respectively by the 15th of February for Non-EU-Self-paying students and by the 15th of April for EU self-paying students.

Reminder

All universities provide a barrier-free teaching environment.
For students with special needs, it is possible to request special conditions for the exams e.g., more time, time breaks and any special assistance needed, in order to make up for any disadvantage they might have compared to other students.

The application period for the 2025 intake ended on February 28th. Next intake will be organized from 15th of September 2025 until 15th of January 2026.
