EMABG Programme

The domain of animal breeding and genetics has undergone a revolution in the recent decade. The availability of high throughput genomic markers as well as phenotypic data from automated recording systems resulted in dramatic change in the understanding of genetic mechanisms and in the way livestock and aquaculture species are bred. The European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics (EMABG), a 2-year Master course, responds to a sharply increased demand of industry and academia for people very well skilled in reflecting and dealing with this kind of data.
